The ingredients used by the brand are of indigenous origin such as horopito oil and ponga fern extract. These are blended with scientifically proven ingredients such as clay from Australia, jojoba extract from Mexico and tamanu oil from Polynesia.

The brand believes that customers deserve this and therefore find it important to make this happen. About Triumph & Disaster

The founder, Dion Nash, comes from a long line of boxers and tailors. A fascinating combination on which the brand is built. So Dion grew up in good clothes, but was always ready to enter the battlefield. Quite a contrast that he was well aware of.

At the age of 13, his father gave him a poem by Rudyard Klipping called “IF”. However, this poem was given to him when he rebelled against his father, like many boys of that age. The poem was therefore crumpled up and thrown in the bottom of a drawer, never read.

Years later, Dion read the poem. The poem was about humility, honor, reward and risk. The poem literally contained the words: “If you can meet with Triumph & Disaster and treat those two imposters just the same.” These words inspired Dion and the Triumph & Disaster brand was founded.
